Employment History
Fullstack Developer at Nor267, Porto
Feb 2024 — Sep 2024
At Nor267 I was responsible for creating and maintaining multiple websites written in PHP (some in Laravel/Symfony and others in pure PHP) and ReactJS, VueJS or jQuery as the frontend technology, creating newsletters and managing webservers. I've also created a website using NextJS/NodeJS and Laravel for a group of restaurants. At Nor267 I improved both my frontend skills (the websites had a huge complexity in the frontend) and my PHP (Laravel) skills, building fully-customizable backoffices and a CMS using the TALL stack (Tailwind, AlpineJS, Laravel and Livewire). I've also had experience with InertiaJS, which connected Laravel and VueJS/ReactJS with ease.

PHP/Flutter Developer at Edge Portugal, Porto
Sep 2022 — Apr 2023
As a mobile developer, I had the opportunity to work on a Flutter application that allowed users to set loans through a simulator. The project entailed a lot of debugging and fixing of old bugs that had been plaguing the application for some time. My role was to ensure that the application was running smoothly and that the simulator was accurately reflecting the loan settings of the user. Despite the challenges I faced, I was able to successfully debug the application and fix all the old bugs. I spent a considerable amount of time testing and making sure that the simulator was running smoothly. In addition to fixing the bugs, I also implemented some minor improvements to the user interface.
As a web developer, I've developed a sports club management system that included a special feature called "Talks". This feature allowed coaches to create questionnaires for teams and individual athletes to answer, with the ability to later respond to the athlete's answers. The system was built using an MVC framework in PHP, ensuring efficiency and scalability. It provided an easy and effective way to communicate and gather information, ultimately improving team performance.
